Preservative Free Lubricating Eye Drops
For Treatment of Severe and Persistant Dry Eyes
The eye's protective Tear Film is composed of a delicate layer of tears, which provides nourishment and lubrication.
When these systems become compromised, it can lead to a decrease in tear quality or quantity.
To combat this, Dry Eye management often relies on tear replacement with eye drops.
Hylo Forte, containing Sodium Hyaluronate, a naturally occurring substance, effectively replenishes the tear film at a concentration of 0.2%, providing relief for persistent and severe dry eye symptoms.
Ingredients:
1 ml HYLO-FORTE contains 2 mg sodium hyaluronate, citric acid anhydrous, sodium citrate, sorbitol and water for injections.

Directions:
Remove the cap before use. Before first use only, invert the bottle and pump the base until the first drop appears. The system is now ready for use. Place two fingers on the base of the bottle and your thumb on the shoulder, Pull down your lower eyelid. Tilt your head back and press on the base to release one drop.
Priming the System:
To prime the bottle, remove the over cap (refer to the Patient Information Leaflet) and turn the HYLO-FORTE® bottle upside down with the tip facing downwards. Place two fingers on the bottom and your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle (see Patient Information Leaflet) and press down firmly on the bottom, then release. Repeat this process several times until the first drop is released. The bottle is now ready for use.
General Use:
To use HYLO-FORTE eye drops, remove the over-cap and hold the bottle with its tip down using one hand, while supporting your hand with the other (refer to the Patient Information Leaflet for further guidance).
Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid, then press the base of the bottle to release one drop into the conjunctival sac. Repeat for the other eye, then close your eye slowly to evenly spread the fluid over the surface.
The COMOD valve system guarantees consistent drop size and speed, regardless of pressure on the bottle base. While using, make sure the bottle tip does not touch your eye or skin. Once finished, make sure the tip is dry before replacing the over-cap (refer to the Patient Information Leaflet).
HYLO-FORTE should be used according to the instructions given by your doctor or your eye specialist. Normally one drop of HYLO-FORTE® three times a day can be instilled into each eye. If necessary it can also be used more frequently.
